DCONNECT C-90 LDF Fiber Cleaver

The DCONNECT C-90 LDF Fiber Cleaver is a specialized optical fiber cleaving tool designed for large diameter fiber (LDF) applications. It supports single fibers with coating diameters ranging from 250µm to 1200µm, making it suitable for large core and specialty fiber preparation. Unlike conventional fiber cleavers that directly cut the fiber with a blade, the C-90 uses adjustable blade cutting depth to open the fiber and controlled holder tension to separate the fiber from the cut. This cleaving method helps achieve smoother fiber preparation, improve cleaving quality, and reduce the possibility of damaging the fiber end face. Different fiber holder sizes can be used to accommodate various fiber diameters, while the holder tension and blade cutting depth can be adjusted according to the fiber type. With a cleaved angle of ≤0.5°, 12V/5A power supply, 50-60%RH working humidity, and a compact 258 × 152 × 169mm design, the DCONNECT C-90 is suitable for professional fiber optic preparation and large diameter fiber processing.
